This page will give you all the info you need regarding the Exeterfurs parties. Please bear in mind that this information ONLY APPLIES TO THE PARTIES and not the regular Exeterfurs meets. This is because the parties are ran slightly differently from the regular meets.
LOCATION
Quayside Distilleries is quite some distance from our usual venues. This is because Quayside was the only place available where we could hold our parties. We’ve provided a map below on how to get there from the Community Centre.

We are unable to help with any baggage that you may have, so please remember that.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE…
We will have a small fursuit changing area for people who prefer privacy, however, because of the small size, we cannot have bags stored in there. Quayside have kindly offered the use of their distillery room for bag storage, but once you’ve dropped your bag off in there, please vacate the area… no loitering! There is a lot of expensive equipment in there and if anything is broken, we will take action against the culprits. We also ask that you do not touch the whiteboard in there… at all… as tempting as it may be. If we find out people have been drawing on there, you will be warned.
The venue has an access ramp for those with limited mobility, and all of their toilet facilities are gender neutral.
Because of how (very) close the venue is to the harbour, we are going to politely ask that if you step outside, please remove any fursuit heads. This is because we don’t want incidents of anybody falling in the water. We’d hope nobody would be that stupid to play around near the harbour, but if we have any incidents involving the water, we will take action against those that did it. I think it’s obvious why we would do this!
CAR PARKING
Exeter Community Centre – There are plenty of parking places in Exeter. As this venue is in the city centre, it is advised to try to get into any car park that can accommodate you, and that you can safely get to the meet up spots. (It’s the same as if you were coming to a normal meet).
Quayside Distillery – The nearest car parks are the Havenbanks Car parks (EX2 8GP). If you park in Havenbanks 1, there is a direct path linking the car park to the rear of the venue, and the walk should only take about 1-2 minutes maximum. Please do not park in Tenpin’s car park, as this is private for their customers.

ANYTHING ELSE?
We will be holding a competition on the Friday for ‘best dressed in theme’, as we always do. Don your outfits and look the part for the party! We have given you plenty of warning for this! Fursuit or non-fursuit, all are welcome to take part!
We’re going to be doing things a little differently this time, so, if you are entering, you will be asked when you get your wristband if you are. Once you’ve confirmed this, you will be told what to do next. Voting will be done by everyone there, admins, assistants, even you! You’ll be given a voting form to cast your vote, and there will be a little box to put your slips in. This is to aid with fairness and transparency.
You can wear your outfits to the meet on Saturday, too, to keep in the spirit of things, but, the competition will happen on Friday. There will be another competition on Saturday as well, but that won’t be based on your outfits!
