Code Of Conduct

We have a code of conduct that people must follow. This applies for any of our official chats, our furmeets or our parties. Any attempt, or breakage, of these rules will result in actions being taken against you.

Overall Rules

  • We are 18+ only.
  • Do not attend if you test positive or are showing symptoms of Covid, or any contagious illnesses or infections.
  • Use and sale of illegal substances is NOT permitted and police will be notified if in possession.
  • Alcohol is permitted during the meet, however inappropriate drunk conduct won’t be tolerated.
  • Any music played during the meet must be appropriate.
  • No NSFW wear. If in doubt ask an admin.
  • Do not behave against the Public Order Act. In short, use common sense. Don’t be a disruption to the public that could cause problems such as freedom of movement. No anti-social behaviour. Adhere to local laws in place. Click here for a link to the most recent amended version of the Public Order Act if you want the legal stuff.
  • Be respectful of other people’s political views and refrain from continuing a conversation if it begins getting heated.
  • No Weapons. Props must be clearly identified.
  • Theft or any misconduct toward other attendees will not be tolerated.
  • If you would like to sell or advertise items, or other unofficial events we have a separate telegram group for that, or you can use our discord. (No more than once a week sales post per person), please do not conduct sales at the meets themselves without specific permission from the admins.
  • Attendees are responsible for their personal property and getting to and from the meet.
  • Any medication needed by attendees are the responsibility of that attendee or their carer to keep safe and provide for them.
  • We operate ‘challenge 25’ rules at our furmeet. If you look under 25 when you attend our meet, we may ask you for ID. If you do not have any valid ID, we will ask you to leave and remove you from any social media groups. Valid ID is as follows:
    • Passport
    • Driving License (Provisional or Full)
    • Government issued ID card (Military service, NHS worker ID, etc)#
    • Blue badge holder
    • Government approved ID card (Anything with the PASS logo, citizencard, etc).

Social Media Rules

  • Any external links outside of the group need to be approved by an admin first.
  • If the moderators or admins ask you to stop doing something, you stop without question and without causing drama.
  • Don’t start drama, and don’t bring outside drama into any of our chats or social media.
  • Abusive, derogatory, or deliberately offensive language will not be tolerated.
  • Membership of a group, chat room or similar, which primarily exists to disseminate harassing, discriminatory or hateful content, or which is associated with an organisation which does this, will result in a permanent ban from our social media.
  • Do not abuse any of our social media as a means to harass, manipulate or spread drama about attendees and any other users, If you have an issue with an attendee, please use the correct lines of communication by contacting our admin team.
  • Targeted harassment towards staff, moderators or attendees will not be tolerated within any of our social media, or the relevant party’s direct messages. If any user doesn’t want contact via direct messages, please do not harass them.
  • If a user has been banned from our meets, chats or social media, we will not tolerate anybody trying to promote them, or their actions. Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but if it is going to cause drama, it then becomes unwanted.
  • The admins are not the furry police. We will not tolerate any attempts to ‘Twitter cancel’, harass, abuse or otherwise pass judgment on any member of our attendees or staff. If you have a grievance that you think warrants admin attention, please contact the admins with the relevant evidence.
  • On the basis of the above rule, the admins’ decision is final. If you then make further attempts to do the above actions to persuade, or coerce, a decision to suit you from our admin teams (including attempts to ‘Twitter cancel’ the meets, or the admins), you will be the one who will have action taken against you.
